- The program has been in existence since 1972.
- Over 5000 kids have been reached.
- 90% graduation rate for high school level participants.
- Approximately 60% of program graduates have attended college (over 1,000 children), with 25% receiving tennis scholarships and 65% receiving some form of financial support.
- Tennis provided six days a week during the school year.
- Educational enrichment programming provided two days a week during the school year.
- Average GPA of participants is 3.1. Minimum 2.0 GPA needed to maintain enrollment
- Tennis provided five days a week during the summer.
- Approximately 100-250 kids participate in the summers.
- Approximately 180 kids participate during the school year.
- James and Thomas Blake were participants of the program. They currently are spokespersons for the program.
- Year round junior tennis program in Harlem.
- USTA Sanctioned junior tournament hosted every Spring and every August.
- Major fundraiser includes James Blake annually.
- Luncheon Fundraiser with Billie Jean King, August 2007.
- Graduates have attended top universities across the country including: Columbia, Dartmouth, Hampton, Harvard, Howard, Morehouse, New York University, Rutgers University, Syracuse University, Temple University and Tulane University.
